Description
Do you have a habit of leaving your mud-clogged boots in your bag after training and then pulling them out again just before the next session? STOP!!! To continue to enjoy your boots, you have to put in the time. As with any leather boot, these boots require a minimum of care. That's why we've developed a care kit that you can find here: https://www.decathlon.fr/p/kit-entretien-chaussure-essential/_/R-p-339843?mc=8756736
To ensure your feet are as comfortable as possible we recommend choosing a football boot a half size (U.K., 1 size European) smaller than your usual sizeThe leather upper is naturally very supple and, unlike synthetic materials, will stretch and fit the contours of your foot. For your VIRALTO II boots, pick a half size smaller (U.K. size, 1 Euro size) than your usual boot sizeIf you normally wear a size 9-1/2 (UK) for football boots, we recommend choosing a size 9 (UK) for your VIRALTO II boots
We designed these football boots with a podiatrist specializing in sports and professional football. We designed and validated with him the different concepts, systems and technologies used on these football boots. For example, when creating the outsole, the number of studs, their rounded shape, and their positions on the boot, were specifically researched and designed to ensure the best balance of grip and comfort.
We enlarged the main surface area that makes contact with the ball by placing the laces in an asymmetric line. The axis along which the laces are placed was shifted to the outside by 10 degrees to provide you with a larger sweet spot for controlling, passing and striking the ball. There's nothing to hold you back from showing off your best moves! Say goodbye to missed dribbles, close-but-not-quite passes, and strikes that land in the stands. Your coach and team members will be delighted!
Our product R&D team is based in northern France and is made up of product managers, engineers, designers, and a product certification (testing) team. The entire team is passionate about football and dedicated to doing everything they can to give you the best football boots possible for each set of criteria. We're very proud to present our Viralto II football boots, which offer the comfort of leather at the best possible price!
The VIRALTO come in 4 different sole variants: These refer to the type of pitch you play on: - TF (Turf or stabilized): rubber sole for hard artificial or slate pitches. - FG (Firm Ground): the famous "moulded" TPU studs made for long natural or artificial grass- MG/AG: (Artificial): sole specially designed for artificial pitches. - SG (Soft Ground): for soft or muddy pitches; a hybrid sole that has 6 screw-in studs.
"Master of the pitch" who loves leather football boots? We have created a model just for you! The forefoot of these Viralto II football boots is made of calfskin leather. We use a high quality leather that is tracked and fully compliant with all regulations. Together with our certified supplier, we use the best part of the leather in order to provide you with the best quality possible on the portions of the foot that come into contact with the ball most often.
Viralto brings together 4 models of football boots, designed around the themes of comfort and flexibility. Two models are in leather, and two made of artificial materials. Each model offers its own advantages, depending on your expectations, requirements, and budget. The models are available with an FG, MG/AG, SG or Turf outsole. So no more excuses on the pitch for not controlling the ball and squashing the opposition!
These football boots are the result of a multitude of choices all made with a single goal: create a comfortable football boot! Calfskin on the forefoot, foam and imitation suede leather lining at the heel, a preshaped insole with anti-chaffing coating on the top side, and lastly, a tongue made of calfskin, attached at the base and that doesn't twist, ensures the boot hugs your foot nice and snug during play.
In order to provide you with optimum flexibility for sudden changes of direction and push-offs, mad dashes and between-the-lines passes, we use the following two technologies: The first, Flex-H, on the front of the outsole, allows the sole to bend following the shape of a horizontal "H".
As each player is unique, you can contact the Workshop department of your DECATHLON store to have your shoe personalized (name, first name, other, etc.).
